Map Development Initiative

HL2DMU is interested in seeing maps reach their full potential. HL2DMU officials may contact a map maker if they find a map that they feel has good potential and is either unfinished or problematic.

Working in conjunction with the mapping community, the goal of this initiative is to provide a greater number of quality maps, with fewer map-related bugs.

If you have a map that is abandoned, or you are leaving the game, please consider donating the .vmf to HL2DMU so that there is the possibility of it being completed and released to the benefit of all players. We will archive the .vmf. If the map shows good potential, an official may choose to complete the map and release it with shared credit. Game Enhancement Wishlist

In addition to correcting existing problems, there are also features that could be added to enhance the game. While not actually in development, these are additions that HL2DMU would like to see made, either by third-party plugin, or by Valve itself.
